The Cannabis Opportunity Reinvestment (CORE) program, established by the City of Sacramento, aims to assist individuals and communities facing challenges in launching cannabis businesses due to the historical unequal enforcement of cannabis laws. As part of its efforts, the program supports community members seeking opportunity and growth by providing training, technical and financial assistance, as well as other guidance. This initiative is particularly relevant as we approach Equity Week 2025, highlighting the importance of equity in the cannabis industry.
Make Green Go's mission is to address the issue that equity programs often overlook: encouraging consumers to purchase from equity cannabis businesses, including those involved in Cannabis Opportunity Reinvestment initiatives. We create targeted awareness campaigns combined with cannabis safety education that increase equity product sales by 40-50% and help get products ON dispensary shelves, benefiting CORE businesses. We believe every equity cannabis business deserves customers who know they exist, especially during events like Equity Week 2025.
